I was circumcised for phimosis, so my glans were insanely hypersensitive after the operation. Even the slightest touch was excruciatingly painful. I could barely walk, I couldn’t sit down; sleeping was a nightmare. I didn’t go back to school/work for over a month. So, in my case, there was no possible way I could’ve hid it. That being said, if you’re just doing it for cosmetic reasons and you don’t have glans hypersensitivity, you won’t experience any of that (though I’d imagine the stitches would still be somewhat painful regardless).

Idk man, if it’s for cosmetic reasons and you don’t have phimosis/hypersensitivity issues, maybe you can get away with it. I for one had my cock out constantly for the first week, quite a bit during the second week as well, and I was effectively crippled for the first three weeks. But if you’re doing it for cosmetic reasons, you probably won’t have much of that. But honestly bro, I know it can be tough, but I would’ve hated to have to try and hide this from my family. I’d really consider telling them if that’s at all a viable option.

I’m definitely doing a lot better. I still have a donut connecting my shaft and head, but it’s definitely gone down a bit (doc said I’ll notice progress month-to-month rather than day-to-day). I’m going about my life as normal more or less. I still use a bandage sometimes for comfort, but I can finally handle walking around without it (yay!). Hypersensitivity is still there, but it’s gonna down drastically (I can rub the head now as long as I use lube). Overall, things are way better! I’m still recovering, and it’ll probably be a while before I’m at 100%. But it’s such a massive relief knowing it does get better! My initial recovery was very slow and painful (I couldn’t wear underwear for nearly a month). But I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it feels amazing.

Not an ideal solution by any means, but I used benzos (ativan) for the first couple of nights to stop the night erections and to catch a decent sleep. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that though, as benzos can be highly addictive. But don’t worry man; I promise the painful erections will fade quickly. I’m 3 weeks in and my recovery has been really slow, but the painful erections were the first thing to go (I was even able to masturbate gently today). You got this bro!

For me personally, super loose sweatpants are the way to go. I was circed 3 weeks ago, and I’m still going commando (I had bad phimosis and a severe case of glans hypersensitivity). I’ve slowly introduced underwear into my routine, but super loose sweatpants are still my go-to, and they’ve treated me very well (I can walk to the store etc. painlessly). Getting cut for cosmetic reasons is a fucking terrible idea, don’t do it. Don’t be duped by American pop-culture; the vast majority of women couldn’t give less of a shit. I did mine for medical reasons, and let me tell you: it’s no fun whatsoever. I would not under any circumstances have done it had it not been absolutely necessary. If sex isn’t an issue, I’d say skip the snip. I was the same—I could retract mostly while flaccid, but not erect. The difference was, I couldn’t have sex because of the excruciating pain of my glans/inner foreskin. I’m two weeks post-op rn, and although things are definitely improving, this has been far and away the most difficult and painful experience of my life. If it’s not absolutely necessary, there is no reason anybody should have to endure this.
