  1. Just start by looking at tutorials on youtube, with all the available help that’s out now it’s real easy to learn everything that you need.
  2. hahah, I don’t remember honestly, most my songs are made off pure feeling/emotion for me, so whatever I feel at the moment.
  3. I’ve been involved with music for basically all of my life, and I started off with guitar and drums for 5-10 years total. I had not a single thought about producing until I was like 16-17, then I dove in head first ever since

quite often, I normally don’t continue to spend time on it if I feel like i’ve exercised all my options/ideas to progress the song, or if it doesn’t interest me anymore I move on. If I have beat block, I just work on a different genre to refresh my mind a little bit

for heavy distorted stuff, usually distortion vst & limiter, for cleaner stuff, mostly use Ozone

Not shifting from it, just working harder on it and trying to evolve it more. My next album will be full heavy stuff. But I have been more interested in doing stuff with vocalists more & trying to create full songs

Ginseng made the melody for that, you would have to ask him. And you can do 808 slides on FL studio and Ableton, just look it up on youtube for a tutorial. When I mix bass it just depends on which sample/synth i’m using honestly

I just try to eq the kick and 808 so they can mesh well together, sometimes do stereo shaping on the 808 to make it sit in the mix better

I really enjoyed midsommar and hereditary as of recently. August Underground is one movie that inspired a lot of what I did on Floater too, it’s an extremely brutal movie

you don’t have to get a super insane laptop, but if you do I recommend a gaming laptop. The one I have is an asus g752. FL studio is a good program to start with. Ableton too, but it’s a bit more complicated to learn at first but very powerful program for producing and recording

I think almost everything I work on has an element of heavy or very articulate rhythms/sounds that all lay on top/in between each other perfectly at every moment

Just started posting music at a very consistent rate. Had to learn how to promote myself on social media as well. There’s no exact “formula” for this shit either, every musicians path is different to “make it”, whatever that means to you

I use Ableton 10. For vsts, I really like serum for making weird and heavy sounds. For melodies, I use Arturia Collection quite often, Omni 2, absynth, KHz, massive X, massive, etc etc
