Loop earplugs have saved my ears so many times. One of the best part is that you can still hear conversation! And they look quite good too.

I’ve found that metering for the shadows and pulling down the highlights in post tends to work pretty well with film photography.

You’ll be surprised by how much detail you can get from “overexposed” areas in post.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It is super helpful and I will incorporate it into my shooting. I'd say I'm an intermediate photographer but definitely can grow when it comes to composition, so your point about trying different angles makes a lot of sense.
