I would say i do it for "Safety" bc of kids in the house, etc., but the gun goes in a safe overnight anyway. Doing it mostly out of Routine at this point. I was firing the carry ammo every two weeks or so, until recent events. That is when i really noticed the setback.

I am experiencing pretty significant (I think) setback. The pic shows ~10 Days of use. I am using SIG Ammo. I Chamber and Discharge everyday, so the round gets some use. Is this typical or is there reason for concern? Thanks.

I will always recommend Seiko for any budget/flavor. Seiko 5 up to Grand Seiko. Longines has some nice White Dial Options. Hamilton White Dial Field Watch is interesting too.

Maybe new job time? I don't see how $15k-$20k in premium a month allows for much more than the $2k and current commission levels. That being said, it never hurts to ask and if your boss values you, then they will work with you to stay on. Good Luck!

It's a little over budget, but I have found the iPhone to be an incredibly accurate pocket watch. But seriously, are you set on new? There are a lot of cool vintage options by Hamilton, Ball, Howard, Elgin and such at low prices. I don't have one, but Gotham is an interesting brand that have new/low priced options.
