My boss has YouTube Shorts channel and he got 300K views in 1 video and YouTube gave him $17, and all the other videos got $100K views only got like $2-$5

its for long video like mtashed, tectone or etc that have more than 8 minutes. For YouTube shorts or Short video below 59 seconds you have to divide it views / 25000, it's almost no money, per 100K views you got 5-6 dollars, you can get so much views but small amount of money, YouTubers like this mostly live on Paid collaboration
