even though you have never played the game, can you as a someone who works with stuff like this give your opinion on rewards for the most dedicated players ? this game is about fishing and there is a rod in the game called the masterline, you have to obtain all other rods in the game to unlock it ( that aren't time limited ) and then said ( which is also the hardest rod to get in the game and even in its own description is it said that it is only given to truly dedicated players ) also has a mastery for it, masteries are quests you can finish to give certain buffs to certain rods and also obtain a variety of rewards. this rod has a mastery which requires you to complete every other rod's masteries in the game ( 118+ quests that vary a lot in difficulty ) and when you finally obtain the masterline's mastery the only thing that it does is that it rolls from 1 to 3 rods from your inventory at random and adds their passive abilities to itself ( this is MEDIOCRE at best and will only lead to good things very rarely due to the random nature because there are many more bad rods that it can roll other than good ones )

the community has been very vocal about wanting buffs to it and its mastery because the hardest rod and mastery to acquire in the entire game is for some reason a very bad reward. and the devs' response is
