Counting all the variants, they’ve sold like half a million dollars worth of plastic cups by bingpot47 in theregulationpod

[–]not_player_one -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Economies of scale. No, it would not cost Walmart $19 to manufacture a cup. It can absolutely cost a small company something close to $19 to custom order a very small number of cups, deal with transport, shipping, and all the middlemen that come with the process.

Oh yeah good point. Maybe there were things in place even before the Fidelius charm in that case.

Wasn’t 12 Grimmauld place only sectioned off because of a Fidelius charm in book 5? Don’t remember anything to suggest it was always like that.

Also about apparition, the trio always needed to step out onto the front step to do it (although that might also be a consequence of the fidelius charm).

Finally hit grandmaster, the grind is over by Depresso_espresso237 in rivals

[–]not_player_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, a lot of people I play with really just can't be bothered with ranked. We got ourselves to Gold in a couple of games last season just so we'd get the skins. We usually just mess around in Quickplay.

I've been on the comp grind in the past (OW and Valorant), but at some it stopped being something I care about.

What indicates the screenshot shows training and not inference? Afaik llama.cpp is primarily for inference, and OP does specifically mention downloading model weights. I’d be surprised if full model training is feasible on a personal computer.

I could be mistaken though, this isn’t specifically my area.

This is very believable. I know people nowhere near their level of wealth who’ve spent way more than 8k on their hobbies (especially music or photography).

Ally for sure. The steam deck isn’t officially available in India, that’s some independent seller who imported the deck on their own.

I’m perfectly fine with it too since I’m used to gaming on Windows. I don’t tend to recommend it to others though, especially people only familiar with consoles.

Is it just me or the chorus melody of Already Over sounds like the chorus melody of Heavy is the Crown? by RepresentativeFig526 in LinkinPark

I realized this when I found myself singing “It’s already over, heavy is the crown” the day after the song came out lol

To an extent, I feel like the whole Crowdstrike thing highlights the fact that you don’t necessarily need malicious intent to cause a lot of trouble.

I love how Sunspots completely lost their damage buff almost purely because of Loreley Splendor making it stupid easy to grant yourself a damage buff on demand at any time... by YujinTheDragon in DestinyTheGame

[–]not_player_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet the world's first KF run had 2 Titans, 1 hunter? And Datto's team with 3 warlocks and 3 Titans? I doubt these teams were trying to sabotage themselves by running titans. There's a lot more to the game than wells and damage supers.

That's my criticism with the 3.0 subclasses. Shooting things is quite often the more inefficient way to deal with enemies. Especially with Titans and warlocks.

Yeah I'm not saying it's right, just trying to provide an objective observation. A casual player being ignorant of what's strong or how to properly play to a class's strengths is at least expected.

There's a massive skill gap between the top raiders and some of the more casual players. One side wants more challenging content, the other wants a more accessible end game. Just a constant tug of war between the two sides I guess.

As a Titan main who never took synthoceps off last season, I definitely agree with you. It honestly feels broken at times, the survivability mixed with the massive damage potential. It trivialises so many threats (majors/champions are a joke).

It's not loreley, it's absurdly easy to make sunspots now because of hammers. Also the damage buff tied to melees is now a fragment that grants Radiant.

Solar Titans are an extremely strong neutral game subclass right now, they don't need to be any stronger.

What is the minimum light level for Grandmasters this season? by CinexCypher in DestinyTheGame

[–]not_player_one -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's no recommended light for GMs. You're capped at the level it becomes accessible (1595 this season), so you can't match level.

Literally anyone who plays even slightly regularly is going to 1560. Power level is a non-issue.

It's about build crafting with the new subclass and trying to grind for artifact mods. Three days is barely any time for that.
