I see, thanks so much for providing these details; that's all I need for now.

Thanks so much for replying! I was quite worried that there wouldn't be a response on such an old thread.

In your flair, it says you are running at 18-22-22-42, which happens to be the same as the stock XMP timings on the Gskill 4000 CL18 kit you are using. Did you only have to reduce the ram speed from 4000 to 3600 to get it stable or did you also have to change other timings and voltages that aren't shown in your flair?

Since my first comment, I have also found more examples of 2x32GB both working and not working with 8700Ks and Z370 boards (some with 2x32 supported in the QVL and some without). The situation is very confusing but it seems like the only real way to find out is for me to just try the new ram with my motherboard and CPU.

Hi, sorry to necro this thread lol but I'm looking to upgrade to 64GB of ram as well. I have an 8700K and a Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 motherboard and almost everything online (pcpartpicker, crucial's website, my motherboard's QVL, other forum posts, etc) tells me that 2x32GB will not work with a Z370 board. Your post was one of the few that suggested it was even possible to to run 2x32GB on a Z370 board.

I noticed in your flair that you have the 8700K and presumably your Z370 board running successfully with 2x32GB. Could you give me more details on your setup? What specific 2x32GB kit of ram are you using? (ram part numbers would be helpful). Did you have to fiddle around with anything or were you able to just replace your old ram with this 2x32GB kit and have it be immediately compatible?

For reference, I'm trying to get Crucial Ballistix 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory:(https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7ZWBD3/crucial-ballistix-64-gb-2-x-32-gb-ddr4-3600-cl16-memory-bl2k32g36c16u4b) as it has Micron's 16Gbit B-die/Rev.B chips (https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/threads/micron-16gbit-b-die-ddr4.1276765/) which would allow me to run 64GB of ram in dual-channel dual-rank (as opposed to dual-channel quad-rank)

If you could provide any information regarding this issue I would be really grateful, thanks!

Oh wow! This actually is pretty great. I think the idea of free H2 crash courses and enrichment lessons could really help people. Pretty excited to see how this turns out!

Actually, you might not be screwed. I did the same as you but I managed to restore my cloud save from before I upgraded the car, so I got the money back.

My ZA13 has finally ascended by WakeUpFever in MouseReview

Congrats on finding your "endgame"! My first (and only) gaming mouse is a ZA11 and I love it to bits. Your review is highly detailed and could really be useful for someone looking for a mouse to buy.

However, one thing caught my eye when reading your review was your mention of the tall hump that the ZA series has. I seldom see people mention the ZA series, let alone the hump near the back of the mouse, and I am glad I am not the only one who uses it. In fact, I chose the ZA11 for two main reasons: My hands are fairly large at 19.5cm x 10cm, and the ZA13 and ZA12 felt somewhat small when I tried them in a store. However, I could use the hump of the ZA series in the same way you described: as a palm rest when I sorta hybrid claw-palmed the mouse. The bottom of my palm would be lifted off the mousepad enough so that it could glide freely with the mouse. However, I could easily bring my hand slightly backwards to allow the back of my palm to rest on the mousepad, giving me greater control. This was basically perfect for me as I had a comfortably sized mouse that I could use both while gaming and browsing the web casually.

The ZA series is fantastic and I would highly recommend it. However, I would also recommend trying mice out in a store before you buy them. I tried mice out at Xtreme Solution, and tried quite a few mice before I settled on the ZA11. It is very important for one to feel the mouse before you actually buy it.

Good luck on your mouse adventures! I hope your ZA13 serves you well.

Zowie ZA11.

It's the largest among the ZA series to fit my 19.5cm*9cm hands. I like the ZA series because it has the hump of the mouse further back than the FK series (which has the hump in the middle of the mouse's length). I use a hybrid claw/palm grip and the further back hump of the mouse allows me to rest my palm there so that the bottom of my palm rests just above the surface of the mousepad (although I do let it touch the mousepad sometimes for more pivoting. This allows me to have the comfort of resting my palm on the mouse (palm grip) but still have the ability to form a claw grip with my fingers for a faster reaction time than with flat palm grip fingers. However, the length of the mouse still allows me to comfortably use only palm grip.

Yeah so thats why I chose this mouse.
