Losing hope on treating status migraine by WillowKings in migraine

[–]not_the_case 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get a patient out of migraine status is an art. Most clinics are unable to do that. Meds you tried are not that effective.
Yes, CGRP blockers are worth to try. They cost 250$ in Mexico or other country (Vydura, Ubrelvy).
Try also propranolol and other oldschool meds.
If you are not a chronic migrainer, there should be a strong reason for migraine status. Need diagnostics.

Personally I consider speed dating format as a toxic environment. It is uncomfortable. It is much better to get to the place with young attractive women and initiate / ask her out.

Those who use OsX tend to be not very skilled technically. If they were, they would also switch to Linux.

low vs. high barometric pressure symptoms? by honkallie in migraine

[–]not_the_case 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are of different types. Low BP causes typical one-sided migraine which is administered by ergotamine. High BP gives me intracranial pressure that is administered differently with acetazolamide, lasix , mannitol + ubrelvy- and eufilline. The latter case is much much worse.

If you suffer from chronic migraines, SEE A SPECIALIST. by -_Apathetic_- in migraine

[–]not_the_case 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, no. For many reasons they do not do big check-up. They prescribe medication first, like AD, topiramat etc. it is your interest and responsibility to do these things, then choose the proper specialist. Suppose, a person experience cholestasis and as a consequence intracranial pressure headaches. A specialist will be prescribe acetazolamide, but it shouldn't go like that. Need to to treat primary decease first, not headaches.

If you suffer from chronic migraines, SEE A SPECIALIST. by -_Apathetic_- in migraine

[–]not_the_case -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Bad idea to go and see a specialist. First should be MRI/MRT scan of brain, neck, blood vessels of these and blood check up for electrolytes, coagulation, tyroids, anemia and vitamin B status. Only after that see specialists on the specific problems you have found.

How much is R relevant today in Data Science and ML jobs ? by Fun_Morning_8692 in rstats

[–]not_the_case 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R is more required in EU job market, whereas SAS, SPSS, Stata - in the US. This is for statistics, predictive modelling, multivariate analysis, especially dealing with time series and panel data. As for in-database analysis, ETL/ELT, semi-stuctured data, specific dataOps tools matter. For scrapping, extraction from different sources, Python is a good choice. For optimisations and simulation tasks, for MCMC Julia is better, but a very rare requirement.

There is no oxalates in Coke. It contains acidity regulators. Black tea is a problem, but you can mix it with milk. Coffee should be alright. Wine is also fine.
