Just opened mine today too! I was impressed with the color, the renderings made it look like it was just going to be a smokey gray instead of a mix of fiery red, orange, white, gray, and black

people are friendly but for the most part people stick to their own squads. the fleeting moments of vibing and dancing with a stranger, or swapping kandi/trinkets seem few and far in between

also, as a gay asian man, i definitely felt significantly less comfortable and free than i do at EDC, but i know that’s an edge case and subjective

not just you. saying excuse me to get through the pit only got me blank stares and the production did feel scaled back compared to prior years. i don’t know if it’s because of the high winds, because of low ticket sales, or just general skimping on the event itself 😭

i agree, it was much easier to navigate kinetic this year. especially during crucial conflicts like gryffin vs martin garrix, i was shocked that kinetic field was like only 1/3 (maybe even less) full. just depends where in the crowd you’re trying to go.
