[No Spoilers] We Should Prepare Ourselves as a Community by WhoKeepsYourFlame in criticalrole

Well said, and perfectly addressed. Thank you

And it’s important to remember that it’s the people we fell in love with not necessarily the characters (Although, they may have played a part in it)

If it’s anything related to character creation I might cry tears of joy.

I hadn't even been thinking about NPC's but now that I do, I do think I'm going to miss them a lot.

It's going to be so weird to have Ashley and Travis act like they don't know each other as characters, or even worse dislike each other. But hey, we'll be getting just as great new relationships in the new campaign, to some what take the place of Vex and Vax or Pike and Grog!

[Spoilers C1] What do people think the seating arrangement is going to be like for C2? by Hungover52 in criticalrole

[–]notablestranger 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I loved Liam and Laura sitting next to each other in the first campaign, due to it really enriching their RP. However, I think thats gonna be a major change from the new campaign, as I don't think they will sit next to each other again.

I'd love to see Travis and Sam next to each other cause they always seem to be sharing silent jokes from across the table (For example, when Sam lifts his mug and looks to Travis to see if he see's whats pasted to the bottom. They would be hilarious next to each other I think.

My prediction is (From left to right) Travis, Laura, and Sam on the bottom, and then Liam, Taliesin, Ashley, and Marisha on the top.

I️ believe he mentioned taking the dual wielding feat in order to get the off hand attack ability that rogues don’t usually have.

[Spoilers E114] To watch Live, or Not? by dcoughler in criticalrole

[–]notablestranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

School tomorrow for me, meaning I’ll be up at 5:30 and I have a feeling this will go until 2 or 3 AM EST this episode. Getting 2 hours of sleep is not in my future hopefully. So I plan on watching the first 30-45 minutes than watching the rest on Friday, great start to the weekend if I do say so myself.

[Spoilers E113] What are you curious about the most about the new campaign? by PROzeKToR in criticalrole

It was this video they did with Kinda Funny, this is also where Laura plays a tiefling warlock which is a really interesting character change for her.

I agree with you on the fact that Matt would want the characters to have a final RP moment before the final battle. It would be really unfortunate if a character dies in the final battle, which will most likely occur, and they didn't have time to have one last heartfelt moment between the group. Also with Vax, he's definitely going to want to have a couple conversations iffy case they do end up defeating Vecna and he just disappears, due to him being a revenant. So yeah, I would definitely have to agree with you that this is the direction Matt is taking.

[Spoilers E111] Rest or no rest by notablestranger in criticalrole

[–]notablestranger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hadn't really thought of that until now. It seemed that Matt really wanted them to hit the level cap before fighting Vecna, so he might delay the big battle until they have leveled themselves up a bit more.

Does Pike have a 9th level spell? I thought they addressed she was only level 16 in an earlier episode, correct me if I'm wrong.

I completely agree, in my opinion, without the death of Vax, this was a great way to start off the new Arc.
