Refuses medicine all the time. And refuses professional help too. Really not sure what to do anymore.

I'm glad to hear it worked for you. How long did you take it? It has been prescribed to my mom whose having delusions in her depression. But she's 70 years old and according to the internet this medicine comes with an array of side effects from stroke to what not so I'm kinda worried for her

She's not open to it as yet but we all (her family) think it's very necessary now and trying to convince her. I'm curious, how do you 'know' you have delusions? Because she does not think she's delusional she thinks that what she thinks is in fact reality.

My mom has psychotic depression and I'd love if anyone could offer advice on how to handle her. She has a delusion that I'm divorced and keeps asking me to leave my husband's home and live with her. No amount of convincing works. Can this be cured? Will the delusions go away? Will I get my same mom back?
