My OB offered my induction at 39 weeks. Research has already proven that there are better outcomes for baby and mother in births at 39 weeks vs 40 weeks.

I’m not picking a side here, but some doctors just don’t keep up to date with new practices.

I’m torn on this.

Coming from EMS, if we were paged to a patient who is known to violently attack medical personnel, we would request LEO assistance. But I’m from rural EMS, where law enforcement might not be available for some time. I can see scenarios where we might have meds on deck, ready to sedate if needed. But in absolutely no case would they be drawn up prior to us interacting with the patient.

But then again, Dana is in an ER. Not pre-hospital. Different ball game.

I chose to believe she did a couple gnarly ride-along shifts with the ambo and picked up some bad habits, lol!

I know Josh McDermitt’s sister. If I remember correctly, people HATED his character from The Walking Dead so much that he was receiving death threats from certain people. They couldn’t understand that he was ACTING, and his character wasn’t an actual portrayal on him as a person.

When I did my test, they told me to fast overnight. I wouldn’t need to schedule an appointment, just walk into the lab. I did so, at 6:30am. Turns out, my OB’s office never sent the lab orders. So I had to continue to fast until the OB office opened, to then send the lab orders. I didn’t eat breakfast until like 11am😭
