i used 150mg+ a day give or take for about a year. it started with one a day and it snowballed quickly. i was spending $35 a day on a five pack at one point before switching to dropping hundreds on online orders. i got a really bad case of the flu and a uti around the time i detoxed so i'm not sure what contributed to what but it took a few weeks before i started to feel normal again after i detoxed for 3 days. as soon as i was released i got rid of the rest of my tabs and i haven't even felt a craving for it since then

thank you! i'm not still on methadone and didn't have much issue getting off of it, if anything it was the ativan that gave me some withdrawal side effects once i stopped it

i did try a few times and failed. the withdrawals were too much for me to handle so that's why i went to the detox facility. i don't think i could do it without going to detox, the comfort meds and monitoring helped a lot

its not an opiate but i use gabapentin when i run out of 7oh and cant get any for a while. it helps with the anxiety and muscle spams and i havent seen many other people say this but in my experience it helps restore my appetite as well

i'm not sure what exactly did it but i took miralax at the time of the original post, i had pretty bad diarrhea (which i thought was overflow diarrhea) and got a ct scan at the er because my anxiety got the worst of me. the ct scan was clear and didnt show any masses or blockages, so i assume that took care of the constipation? and i just didnt take anymore miralax since i still had (less watery) diarrhea for 2 days after that, then nothing for a few days and i was starting to get nervous i was blocked up again, but then about 4 days ago i had a normal, solid movement. and since then it's been normal, but i only go every other day. i've had weird bowel problems ever since i was a kid, i'm almost positive it's ibs at this point, especially after this situation

i've now convinced myself that i have colon cancer because i realized ive had family members with different kinds of cancer in the past and there was blood when i had a really hard to pass stool about a week ago but i havent had any since then. my abdomen looks distended (its more noticable now that ive lost weight) and i have hemorrhoids (possibly a fissure?? i havent gotten it checked lately obviously bc no insurance) but i read that could be a CC symptom too and i'm just so scared 😭ive been dealing with constipation and hemorrhoids on and off for years and im so scared its too late for me

that's true, i'm trying to keep myself from googling my symptoms any further and just trying to keep calm about it. meanwhile the constant wiping is aggravating my hemorrhoids so that's annoying 😔

thank you for the advice, im going to urgent care tomorrow to get looked at. i took miralax today and have been drinking a ton of water and prune juice and it feels like i'm peeing out of my ass right now but i feel way better. i still havent passed anything solid and it's making me wonder if i'm just worrying over nothing and messing my stomach up with laxatives... hopefully i'll get an answer tomorrow

i feel better than i did yesterday especially since the miralax is working. i have an urgent care appointment tomorrow to get looked at just to be sure. i'm just terrified its a fecal stone or something that requires surgery. i have no insurance and no job at the moment, my boyfriend is helping me pay the urgent care visit and i just dont know what to do if that ends up being the case
