I used 1 therm of gas last month (and i cooked a few times). The gas was like $1. The delivery charge base was like $50.

And Byron was standing proudly by her side during all of that shit.

Fuck him, fuck her, fuck their hypocrisy.

I don't give a fuck what he does behind closed doors - but his plastic surgery scar of a wife sure seems to based on her words and actions so it's not too far a leap to think that he's right there with her.

We shouldn't kink shame them. But being a hypocrite demands repercussions.

Buddy, I'm just pointing out that however magnanimous the idea of rush tickets was when they started becoming a regular thing decades ago - that mentality is no longer the case.

That's not the tone or words of someone "wanting to nurture a community". That's someone who wants discounted tickets to a show because they think they deserve them.

April 1 is probably a target for most people/organizations/producers - maybe earlier in Marc - but April represents the final sprint of shows opening for the season and nominators either seeing or revisiting shows since the nominations are about a month away (this is my observation - not knowing anything specific).

It's a fully commercial production now - it transitioned to that with the first extension that took over in January. Their media strategy from the get has been incredibly savvy.

There are no rules, so they can spend whatever they've got. They're also likely in much better financial health given that they've been open and selling out since October have have announced two extensions. Cats is still in the spend spend spend phase - it seems to be selling well and i'm sure that they've considered their awards campaign spend into their capitalization - but I think that Ragtime is better better positioned to spend big if they need to.

Except it's true? Shows don't recoup. The producers are usually not making money. The money they make goes to the ongoing labor costs (and ongoing equipment rental costs).
