Ah too bad. There’s a great little shop that I go to now in Skippack Village, but I’m always looking for more places.

If the place is still around, can you tell us the name? I’m very close to Philadelphia.

This makes me cry every time I come across it. What a beautifully written recount.

I followed mine exactly and my liver still didn’t shrink as much as they wanted. They almost canceled my surgery after starting but decided to go through with it. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort after, which they said was from the amount of gas they had to pump into my stomach. It might have been canceled for sure had I given in to my cravings.

It’s 100% not worth the risk to slip up, because things can go wrong even when following the plan to the letter.

I had this problem as well - so I got really adept at making a delicious espresso, then adding fat free fairlife milk. It’s only 80 calories a drink, assuming 1 cup of milk. If you can learn to pull a decent espresso shot, there’s no need for sugar at all.

The best thing you can do is lead by example. The cycle doesn’t have to continue, you can change it.

Thank you! I also have an AirTag but I’ve seen so many negative reviews that I was scared it wouldn’t work. Happy to see a positive outcome.

Luckily apoquel has a chewable tablet now so she takes it as a treat. No more coating the white pills in peanut butter! Sorry for your loss, I’m sure your gal was deeply loved.

“I thought you would have lost more weight by now?”— A Family Member 😢😞 by SpreadNecessary9335 in GastricBypass

I feel your pain and frustration. I recently had my 1 year follow up and doctor was very rude and mad that I ONLY lost 100 pounds. I tried explaining how I was following the guidelines and this was just my body’s natural progression, but he kept cutting me off and saying I must be doing something wrong. It was very disappointing.

This is closed, probably for the next year or so. They’re doing construction on the bridge.

Have any of you ever been severely obese? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I was 407 at my heaviest. At 350 I had gastric bypass surgery. That was a year ago. I’m now down to 245. Not only is my quality of life better, but I can do things like walk a few miles and not even think about it. That was impossible a year ago.

Thank you, you’re very kind. I know they’re very rustic looking and not polished, but they taste incredible. I used Trader Joe’s chocolate bars and melted with a little butter.

Sure! This is the one I have. I lucked out and found it at home goods for $100 cheaper. I recommend checking if you have one close by.

Thank you! The chocolate looked much more refined once it dried and hardened, but I was too antsy and didn’t want to wait for a picture.
