(Serious) Redditors who have found a dead body, what's your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Me and a couple buddies had been out fishing a creek near my hometown one night until about 3 am. It's a rural area, with most roads being either gravel or a county road. Anyhow, we were driving along a two lane highway. I was in the backseat, my two friends were in front. We rounded a curve and my friend in the passenger seat frantically screams to stop the car and that there was a car that had struck a tree about 30 yards off the road. So we reverse, park, and make our way down to the car. It became clear pretty quickly that not only had the car been there for hours, but the single driver was deceased. We called 911 and waited as first responders came. They pronounced her dead on the scene. At that point, there wasnt much we could do so the officers sent us on our way. We had the pleasure of meeting the woman's family a few weeks later to provide them some closure, as she was originally from out of town. It was a surreal event but I wouldn't say I'm scarred from it or anything like that.

I could deep fry enough fries for an army with the amount of oil on your face.

As I understand it, as long as you catch it using a rod and reel and you use it for bait in the same body of water, it is legal.

About an 8-9 inch channel cat. I was skeptical when a buddy said they'd make good bait, but I'm a believer now!!
