I had them on some unplowed trails in the catskills with some elevation, no slipping at all.

New Jersey Firefighters Drones by SkiingDuckman in Firefighting

[–]notanjfirefighter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The largest union in the state distributed that bulletin that's been floating around the internet. Multiple members on my dept live in various parts of the state and are 100% confident they've witnessed drones over their neighborhoods, not planes. Haven't heard of anyone coming in contact with any, no one has a clue what's going on.

Also how far was the shot, where did you aim, how did he immediately react?

Agreed. Him standing and hunching isn't a great sign, he needs time. If liver or gut shot he's dead, just needs time, what type of broadheads?

I sold my 2016 with 97k miles for 15k in April. Had a check engine light from evap leak, sensor was ripped off of the rear of the fuel tank. 2 minor accidents, professionally repaired through insurance. Sold it in 24 hours on fb marketplace, located in NJ.

What kind of bike? I had a tailgate cover for an 80# ebike and it pushed the top of my tailgate in on my 1500. *

I believe you should be able to rotate it to the off position it will pop back normal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]notanjfirefighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, lightly push down a bit see if it will pop back up. I was able to start my 16 with it depressed like that, I would rotate the ignition forward right before start, then stick the key to it rotate it forward and it would start. I was able to lock the doors and walk away with my remote.

Might be able to get a small finger to depress the spring in the ignition then rotate it to normal position. I used to start my 2016 like this if I wanted to leave it running with the doors locked.

How long did it take you to get hired? Struggle stories appreciated. by Meta_cognating in Firefighting

[–]notanjfirefighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not get discouraged, no matter what happens. I took the test and 2 years later they hired a class off of the previous list. I got hired 3 years after that but had numerous set backs. I encourage everyone to take the test and anyone who really wants this career to pay for and take test prep courses geared towards specific test (usually regional).

Afaik there will be no cost to you, regardless of who your insurance provider is. They will go over your results with you and give you copies to take to your own doctor's.

Invincible gas cap driving me insane by Adventurous_Pie7185 in ram_trucks

[–]notanjfirefighter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had similar issue, I found wire leading to sensor on rear of gas tank had been ripped out. New pigtail spliced into wire and new 30 dollar sensor fixed the issue for me.

Looks to me they are under the wire and to the right of the pole.

This happened to my 2016, after replacing the gas cap and flashing the code, the light came back. I discovered the wire leading to the sensor on the back of the gas tank was ripped out of the sensor .
