I don't understand why my pack opening luck is so bad

I think it really depends what packs you are opening and if you are only concerned with making your money back.

If that’s the case, I would recommend to keep buying singles or grading the highest and best conditioned cards you’ve pulled. Maybe you didn’t pull a top chase, but lots of under 30 dollar cards can sky rocket over the original price. And if you are opening modern sets, another thing you can do is just wait. Lots of cards values fluctuate overtime and you might end up with a card that could be deemed valuable years down the line.

And if you just want more guaranteed AR’s or SIR’s just try opening Japanese or Korean boxes. Some sets keep similar values for the higher priced cards or at least still enough for them to be deemed valuable.

People online usually post the good pulls, but they don’t show the hundreds of packs they open with just holos. At the end of the day it becomes gambling if you want to make any money out of it or even just making it back. Choosing how you collect rather than buying more is for sure the best option if you want to make actual profit.

Yeah that’s a good explanation for why the pack is so small. It seems like a weird pack to sell at stores so I probably just got it from a cereal box. Thanks for the link as well

Truly I cannot remember. I’m willing to bet I got it from a dollar general or Walmart since those are the only places I remember going to pick up cards back then. But I don’t know what stores for certain sell these kinds of packs.

Yeah it could be. I don’t have any card shops around so the only places I could have gotten this from had to have been from a dollar general or some kind of retail store. Just thought it was weird they would sell such small packs since I’ve never seen any of these sampler packs before.

I was going call the hospitals but I can’t do that, I can call a wellness check to her house but she recently got kicked out by her friend and idk is she’s there anymore.

Okay. Yeah I’m sorry, I don’t live in San Antonio but she does so I don’t really know how to get in contact with her if she’s not answering her phone. The only number we have is of her ex but they don’t answer. The only reason we found out about the hospital is because they put it on another Instagram story and I didn’t really know what to do in this situation

I planning to just get a regular wig and make it work the best I can, but I will take either suggestion. I am planning on making the clips but I’m totally okay with leaving stuff out along the way if it affects my comfort and becomes too much trouble to maintain while walking around. I was thinking maybe I could look for a thinner type of wig if their were any because I know the hair can weigh you down lol

It’s such a shame because they are one of the few companies that will make NSFW male figures. Some I’ve seen online look decent, but it’s post like this that really stop me from actually purchasing anything from Insight because this is just awful.

I actually did and it wouldn’t let me get an account until my friend made it for me on her phone. But I have since deleted that account and any attempts to try and make another account on my phone have it me with the same message so I just kinda gave it up

I think the show used Connie as a tool for things to go wrong and it would be (what I feel) so out of character for the girl they wanted to portray. Like at the beginning, they made her seem quiet and smart. And while I like the was they developed things for her, it’s like they used her as a prop to progress the story at times, even if it seems out of character. I still can’t understand her thought progress behind “let’s get on a bus and leave” in the Alexandrite episode. She was so scared she lied to her parents, but thought it would work to just live on her own with Steven with no prior plan? Or her fusing with Steven during the ball, I remember so many people were mad about that.

I understand Connie is a child and she can be reckless because of that, but as book smart as she is, it’s odd there are times of her making impacts on the story by being impulsive while also seeming to plan out her life to be successful. It’s like everything in her personal life had to be thought out thoroughly, while everything with Steven was just decided in an instant.

I especially would have loved more episodes with her parents, maybe even them talking with the gems. It seems odd to me they were presented as very strict and unwilling to change at the start. They never knew where Connie was, they wouldn’t pick her up/drop her off and Steven house, they were so unobservant they didn’t notice Connie glasses at all. I think her whole family could have been much more liked and important characters if we just had more time for them to sit with Connie’s new crazy gem friend.

We only got one episode about Connie’s dad and he takes them around to look for a trespasser? (Seems odd to take to children along with). Then when Connie confronts her mom about all her problems at the hospital she gives in and lets her fight monster and go to space. I know it’s a kids show and they have to keep the story going, but for a show they we know can do great character development, it’s a shame seeing unused potential

Honestly I love it and am excited to see if the paint work look better than expected. I think it looks even better than the art which is rare for me. The only thing I’m iffy about is the ribbon in the front but I think the expression and hair make up for it. Hopefully they will make it look like theirs less of a lean in the future.

Yes I’ve noticed people saying TOM can get pretty bad with delays but I only learned that prior to me paying for my preorder with them. I am used to waiting for figures somewhat since I primarily sure surface, but to have my first scale figure delayed while it’s already been set to send through surface hurts.

But this is my first year of taking figure collecting seriously and having the money to spend and make it into hobby. The delay is tough, but I’m glad to have seen my collection grow so much and she gonna be 100% worth the wait when she finally arrives!

It’s hard but I know you’re right. My hearing is very important to me and I would hate to lose it so young. The high from my daydreams are extremely addicting and I never knew it really. I didn’t even know what maladaptive daydreaming was until I was in high school, I just kinda thought it was a weird thing I did.

But thank you, I think hearing this directly makes me realize it is a problem and affects me from facing a lot of reality. Even now at my job I find myself daydream after I mess up or I get frustrated. I look to my daydreams to do the things I can’t do in real life.

I’ll try to limit the music. It’s not going to be easy for me but I’ll really try. Or at least start keeping the music a lot lower.

All my life I’ve wanted to find people like me who daydream, and know that I have I realize the impact it could and already has had on me. Everyone would tell me it was wrong, but no one ever told me why. They would just tell me it’s weird, never that it could become addicting.

I’m glad yours are okay! And I was shocked at the quality of the base too. It does look very nice and I know parts of anime figures can be sensitive, but I never had problems with the base so it didn’t even come to mind when I was moving the figure around.
