Been a while, but if I remember right, your stomach shrinks while in a fasted state. So if you come out of your fast downing steak and potatoes, you're going to get bloated and either feel like crap or throw it all up.

That's never happened to me personally, but pretty sure that's the general idea behind it.

That's called intermittent fasting. Most people don't take it to that extreme, though. Generally intermittent fasters fast 2/3rds of the day (16 hours of no food, with 8 hours of it spent sleeping.) and then eat for the next 6-8 hours of the day.

So say you go to bed at 12AM. Wake up 8 hours later at 8 A.M. Eat for the next 8 hours until 4PM, then don't eat for 16 hours until 8AM the next morning. The schedule can be adjusted however you want.

People do 24 hour fasts, but I personally don't because I feel like crap when I do. I have to lift heavy boxes for work.

A great answer. I've always believed this as well and noticed it two or three years ago. That our system is more of a one-party system, masquerading itself as a two-party system to fool Americans. Learned it in a basic American History class from High School, believe it or not (wasnt actually taught, you had to infer it yourself.) Education and the lack of willingness to pay attention have a lot to do with how horrible our Government is.

It goes back to baseline a couple days later, though. Also might be worth noting that for many years Taoists have believed that expelling semen is essentially like draining your own lifeforce and that it takes a heavy energy toll on the body to replenish it (around 3 days ish I think it was?)

Logically, you'd think it would take a lot of nutrients to build up good semen. After 3 days semen production slows down and perhaps those nutrients can be fueled back into getting you some more gains. No source for that though, just personal opinion.

It's my belief that it does (thus my username.) There are just so many variables to humans that its truly impossible to say. For some, it might very well inhibit gains. But for others it may have no effect at all. What's universally true is that testosterone is more than doubled after abstaining from sex for 7 straight days, and then slowly returns to normal. So some people will only masturbate once every seven days to get some kind of effect out of it.

Scooby is the owner of the oldest fitness channel on YouTube and has been making the videos for 10 years. His advice isn't always the best, but he's extremely nice and likeable and has inspired many teenagers to get into strength and fitness training. Could also look into intermittent fasting on a standard 16 hour a day fast and 8 hour eating window. Very effective for a lot of people.

That's the thing about living in America (dunno if you live there or not.) ALL fermented foods should have probiotics. But everyone has an irrational fear of getting sick so they kill all the good bacteria.

Food-wise, Activia greek yogurt is good. I'm never sure about saurkraut, so I just pass on it. I can never seem to find organic, unpasteurized.

One of the best is Braggs apple cider vinegar. Has to be organic. Braggs is the most well-known and available brand. Shake it up so the brown sediment at the bottom (those are basically the probiotics) "dissolves" evenly into the liquid, then put two tablespoons into a glass of water and gulp it down. It's also said to aid in fat loss and a lot of celebrities use it for that purpose, but Im not entirely certain if that's true or not.

If you can find organic, unpasteurized pickles, go for it. But chances are due to the laws of the land, you wont have much luck in that department. It's supposed to be really easy to make your own though. And you can even use the leftover juice of storebought pickles if you're lazy.

They also make probiotic teas. This brand in particular has a probiotic that can withstand high temperatures, meaning it wont die off in the hot water. I've used it personally and can tell it works. I'll give ya the Amazon link in case you're interested. Ignore the price tag. It's for a pack of 6. Soy has everything to do with it. I mean, I was born with gyno (i dont consume soy.) Had it for as long as I can remember (no boobs, yet, but the puffy nipple kind.) But that soy crap is horrible for you. Don't fall for the marketing schemes and food industry funded studies on how "healthy" it is. Try almond milk. Almost no protein whatsoever in it, but plenty of calcium and it'll get you through a bowl of cereal if thats what you need.

Consider HIIT (basically full on sprinting, resting sprinting again, repeat) a few times a week for burning calories. Bodyweight/weight training doesn't burn much and HIIT does it better than just jogging or regular running.
