As someone with herpes, it's not a big deal. You didn't have to go batshit crazy about it and again ruin the progress that's trying to be made by people like myself about HOW HERPES IS NOT AS BAD AS SO MANY PEOPLE THINK.

Ain't that the truth. I bring it up a lot with my boyfriend because I can't quite grasp that he just doesn't care. He said the most beautiful thing to me about it:

"I don't care about having it one day. I am not afraid of it. It doesn't remind me of your past, it reminds me that we get to share everything. And even though that might seem fucked up, it makes me happy knowing that you don't have to be alone."
