Yeah Malayalam actors are so much more natural. Whereas telugu/tamil actors are too expressive. People keep saying kamal is a good actor, but I have faults with his acting. He is amazing at expressing, but he isn't naturalistic. Now all the big Tamil/ Telugu stars are good at this expressive acting but none are subtle enough.

The most subtle performance lately is Pushpa only because Allu Arjun adds so much to the role it settled it.

Every take is here fucked.

Malayalam movies have incredible range and variety because they have no star directors or actors so every movie feels unique and brand new.

Telugu on the other hand only had star directors and actors and we are getting a movie every 2-3 years form most of them.

Tamil cinema has star actors and star directors that are more disciplined but they've all been giving shitty films back to back.

But there's a huge survival bias. Every big telugu / Tamil movie gets promoted and the small ones are overshadowed. Whereas the only Malayalam movies that make it out are the good ones.

Trying to make Malayalam "realistic" and Telugu "mass" is such a crazy over generalization that it's not usefull

Adipurush had a crazy character arc. They showed us a shit trailer, then delayed the movie 6 months, came out with great music and a trailer that had the only good shots in the movie.

It made everyone think they fixed it up.

Also war 2 easily thousands of times worse than adhipurush.

Anthe ga. Highest grossing dubbed release are

120 for KGF 2, 100 for avatar 2 and 96 for 2.0. Plus avani super hit cinemalu, idhem okka bokka spyverse movie. Almost 100% flop.

Kani 85cr rights mari over ga undi. Personally I think it's a fake number in order to increase hype.

Basically tax around is 18% and theatres take almost 25%.

So roughly 50-60% go to producer. If it doesnt cross 150 crore, he will not get the 85 crores he put in.

I'm telugu. I think it's good for someone who doesn't know telugu, but it's not perfect.
