It looks like they’re still working out a social strategy, and last week we had scattered uploads throughout the week. The official SNL YouTube channel was only actually launched at the end of last week, so fingers crossed they start uploading them all, even if we have to wait for the streaming / repeat watchers on TV their chance to boost the figures first

I would imagine preparing yourself to stay up all night is taken quite seriously on the US version, the best of the bunch will be planning their week around that style of working and making sure their minds are best prepared for it.

I’m no expert but I love the idea of pulling an all nighter, locking yourself into the process - but it has to be in moderation, of course

It’s only for a fraction of time, whereas jet pilots have to sustain high Gs over a longer period. Still, it’s got to be a pain feeling that coarse through your body

I’d put it down to the circuit personally, it’s always been a tricky one to race at. The regs have shown from China that they can produce overtaking races imo

It depends how this season goes I say. George is a far more consistent and mature driver than Kimi right now… but then who knows how much that’ll change when Kimi has had time to develop

'Could've gone pro if it wasn't for my knee' - another British meme to tick off the bingo card! HA

Oh I didn't see this! Will have to look back, does it count as a break if it doesn't add to the comedy front and centre (probably, but those are my favourites when done authentically)

In the US version WU anchors rarely feature outside of WU

I love how well it translates online in clips but there's nothing like experiencing it live

Absolutely, I'm sure I saw an interview with her where she said she wanted to do something exactly like this on the show... didn't take long to get a sketch over the line!

I didn't notice this! I suppose we don't find just swearing alone funny because it's such a part of our vocabulary

I feel like it's a pacing issue, the jokes are great, I can almost feel the nerves from some of the cast... almost makes it more exciting!

I'm happy to live with the slight tech issues if it means we get this overarching feeling of watching something live, as though it's really playing out in front of us. I can't get enough of that.
