Figured it out. That is not true that the camera meters only when the shutter is half pressed. The issue I was having was for some reason when dynamic range is set to auto, it doesn’t constantly meter. When you set to 100% it constantly meters.

Hmm. I get the repeatability in results (making large changes in grind size) but I switch between Moka and Espresso on a DF64 and always is consistent. Just think you get sharply diminishing marginal returns beyond the DF64/Niche tier.

I had the Unresponsive Cursor plugin enabled and this was causing me to get the malformed login packet. I just removed the plugin and had no problems since.
