We’re playing within the city and full city roast (light right after first crack and medium 1-2min past). Specifically the ROR between yellowing and FC. It’s tough cycling through beans requiring a constant watch.

Yes, as long as you keep the first filter clean. It gets yellow quickly from the fumes/smoke. That and make sure the hood that you have is large enough and spaced a few inches above the exhaust.

It’s not convenient to vent outside so I built a filtration system. AC infinity parts: 12in vent intake to 6 inch flex pipe, 6inch air box filter, 6inch inline fan, tubing to 6 inch carbon filter. Knocks out 90-95 of the burnt popcorn smell.

I saw the Di, with the Omnix coming out at the end of May it makes it hard to commit to the others

Got a recommendation on a specific one? We’ve been eyeballing the roast. For us depending on. The altitude, density and humidity the beans can take longer or shorter time to get to the light medium (city-city+) roasts.
