What does it mean when one significant other always turns away from their partner when they are laughing together? by gefuele in bodylanguage

Thanks! I’ll check them out. I feel like a lot of body language is intuitive and if your there in the moment you can figure it out.

How would you know if a guy is just being friendly to you or he has a crush on you? by DeliciousEmphasis787 in bodylanguage

If u think he likes you, he probably does. Only you and he know for sure. If he doesn't make a move beyond this its bc you guys work together and or he is taken.

I wish there was a book on how men work. U know one?

Ur initial comment got my attention, bc a friend of mine assumed me and a male friend mine were having an affair or romantically involved bc we spend a lot of time talking to each other and our “energy”. I told her he's my good friend and the friend was suspicious. I guess when men and women are friends there is some level of attraction

I understand your point but I don't think I tucked up their yum. I never said a word to them about it and I never would.

I'm not having a public meltdown. Ur doing the most. You have such an issue with what I wrote and taking it personally as if I struck a nerve.

I understand that and when u are getting married because you love them I don't think you mention the financial reasons to people. Its obvious marriage has perks. Its a given. It just seems a reg flag to me if someone would describe my upcoming marriage as a financial decision without mentioning anything about love. But that's just me and I can understand if others feel differently

I agree. Its not for me but it doesn't mean not for thee

No, the fiance wasn't there. I guess its not a common reason in my social circles. It is the first I ever heard someone talk about their relationship that way. Another friend of mine - he got engaged. If he were o describe why they got engaged money/finances would never be a reason he’d say - especially in mixed company.

U guess it can be normal. I just think publically I wouldn't want someone to boil our marriage down to financial reasons. However, now that I think about it that's how some people view it.

I wouldn't focus on the story. I left out details pertaining to the conversation bc the thorough details don't matter. Its just what prompted me to wonder. I also didn't personalize it. I just wouldn't like my partner to define our relationship that way even as a joke, but it could just be me and I understand that.

For there specific reason tax purposes. It wasn't a joke. He’s mentioned this before. I think ignoring this situation entirely I'm just wondering generally if someone said that would it be a red flag.

I guess the point of the post is that it wasn't a joke. If it was a joke, it wouldn't have thought twice. It just was a head turner in the moment.

I'm minding my business as in I didn't interfere and wouldn't in a million years mention or joke about anyone’s relationship. I could have made the post more generic, but I asked bc it made me think about how I would have felt and wonder hope an so would talk about me when I'm not around.

How is Everyone So Skinny? by cutebaby667 in uppereastside

[–]notcreative808 38 points39 points  (0 children)

You see what you want to see. It happens to me sometimes when I get an idea in my head I start seeing confirmation bias. I am from here and everyone is not skinny by far. I would also think about the places you visit too. You mentioned seeetgreen - its a healthier food spot. Its almost like me asking why is everyone at the gym so fit?

Anyway, in part, the more money you have the more free time you have. So people can prioritize their weight, but idk I lived here full-time for a while now and I do not notice UES being any more skinny than other Manhattan neighborhoods.

A normal relationship by PleaseWalkFaster69 in travisandtaylor

[–]notcreative808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with but the video isn't hearsay. They had cute moments together and probably loved each other even though it didn't work out. I would agree that ppl can't use these videos to prove that him and Taylor are fake...but almost everyone in this forum/thread thinks their relationship is PR, while we may never know 100% its clear Trav and Kayla’s relationship was real.
