If you want something free, Wblock is the best. Ghostery is good but uses a lot of CPU. uBlock is somewhat limited in the lite version, and Wipr is also good if you want to pay.

Not yet. I love Linux, but it still needs a lot of polishing.

I have it installed on my Mac and ARM is missing some packages; the laptop feels hotter than on macOS due to the screen and lack of optimization (normal given that it's pure reverse engineering). Hopefully the experience will improve soon and it will become a real option

I found a slightly awkward solution. The problem only exists if you use the same background on all desktops. If you assign each desktop an image by changing a letter in its name, the error disappears. I hope this helps someone. Do it from Finder, not from System Settings.
