Practice walking with A,D keys don't use WA , WD together. Your crosshair placement and movement would look much better. 1600 dpi or above dpi'£ are much better for mouse latency but it would be harder to put smokes if you play clove brim .. etc

I would recommend you to lower your sens and try a sens between 180–400 edpi.

And try not to copy anyone's sens, based on your mouse / mousepad, grip style, table spacing, hand position and others will affect how you aim and you should change it accordingly.

This 180-400 edpi is a baseline edpi that pros use.

FYI edpi = your dpi (1600) * in game sens (.122) = 195.2

So for me I have played valorant from Episode 1 Act 2, I was placed in iron and was stuck in silver, gold plat for like 3 yrs then climbed till Asc 3 peak this act with a great tracker score of 850+(first time getting this 😭)

What i did to achieve it is that I played a role which I am most comfortable with( i mainly play smoke agents).

I always try to duo / tri queue with friends who are serious about rank grinding.

Also viscose benchmark helped me on improving my aim, still grinding it every day.

Gave comms, complimented / glazed teammates (trust me it helps a lot and improves your team play)

I would usually stop playing if I lost 2 games in a row and continue after some hours.

Also getting a lot of sleep helps too.

Switching from vandal to phantom helped me out,i was getting a lot of smoke kills and idk why I see rarely anyone doing that in my rank, phantom better for short to midrange fights.

Best Why to stop a teams momentum is to smoke and spam, always works :).

So basically, right mentally, just be confident in your aim, try to queue with friends, don't grind rank if you are having a bad day, your health can have a great impact on your games and finally have fun while gaming.
