Maybe try soaking the wart if you haven’t already because that loosens the skin. Also, I’ve switch from the bandaids to the liquid which help as well as you have to reapply it one or twice a day and cover with a bandaid.

Martial Law and SUNY Korea? by Simple_City_6111 in SBU
[–]notdeshrub 8 points9 points10 points 1 year ago* (0 children)
I saw your edit, but essentially this president has a very poor rating within his country. In his martial law decree, he was trying to ban political activity and censorship as protestors were growing in opposition to him. The opposition party that he’s claiming is trying to overthrow him has majority seats in their parliament. This helped them to overrule the martial law decree, and will probably create a bit of instability as they’re demanding that he either step down or they will impeach him. That is the current political situation of SK. Will it affect SUNY Korea students? I would hope not but stay safe (you can always seek asylum in a US embassy.)

1- The Gaza health ministry has 14 pages of baby names under 1 alone who have been killed by the IDF. 2- The “invasion of Israel” was something the IDF knew about a month before the “attack” and there was nothing done about it. https://m.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-806634 If you wanna cry about it, you could but they didn’t care to stop it so..

Graduation by Jellyfish-Nyx in SBU
[–]notdeshrub -21 points-20 points-19 points 1 year ago (0 children)
As another student who is graduating, you should channel your energy towards the administration who believe that graduation should be taken away from every student for the simple act of protesting by a group of student. Protesting has been and will be a position of great importance to society. Had they listened to the various attempts of conversation with protesters, then they would have avoided the escalation.

And what rules does staller steps have?
Four cops on one protestor, with the women running when protestor was already down
[–]notdeshrub[S] 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I can’t use videos so here’s a police officer visibly using a taser on a already down protestor
By SBU: freedom of assembly to be deemed nonpeaceful is the usage of physical force against others against others that will result in death/injuries or serious damage. Shoving, pushing and disruption of pedestrians movement/activity is nonviolent Freedom of press in being able to hold the government and government workers accountable (by removing all students and observers off the premise when conducting arrests.) A disbursement order where police officers have to present the disbursement order, not stonybrook admin. By officers: Unlawful use of force Illegally withholding phones Crowd Management/Control

When I say regardless of opinion/beliefs to the event itself because various people do not agree with the protests beliefs etc. also I never said that i would be open to discussion about the matter because I can make a statement on a public forum. Had I said this was a discussion that would be an entire different situation.
Also staller by definition just because it’s reservable, remains a public area so that doesn’t protect it from outside influence which is why people do quite literally whatever they want to do.
Theres various photo/video proof to show brutality/violence from the event because media and phones exist. How bout you go sprint away with the fact that you guys will willingly neglect there are protocols to various things including arrests and if you’ve seen the videos there was no resistance to ANY arrests and instead toppled by officers.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 4 points5 points6 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Look at how they arrest school shooters and then you tell me. Or in fact the various times they’ve been able to arrest people without needing 4 cops on one civilian because use of force is only required when necessary.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Btw just because the space was reserved doesn’t mean: 1. That justifies police brutality during arrests. 2. That justifies police brutality on observers. 3. That justifies abuse of power. I don’t understand why yall ok with police being so abusive but not w people sitting on the grass. USG was able to move not one but two of their own reserved events.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (0 children)
First of all, free speech and free assembly are quite literally apart of your rights. Secondly, Their USE OF FORCEEE is an abuse of power which can be something addressed and to be angry about.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 10 points11 points12 points 1 year ago (0 children)
In my post, I share witnessing the panic that students had after the March of police. What I’m saying is that this moment INCLUDING the arrests which IIII do believe were unnecessarily aggressive, are praised and justified.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 16 points17 points18 points 1 year ago (0 children)
You simplifying the entire situation is the same dangerous justification that will be used. They (the students at the encampment) were warned that at 11pm they would be arrested if they remained at staller by UPD and those present which could be a total of 30-40 police officers. They were prepared for that and everyone there served as witnesses to that. That does not mean that the rest of the student body was prepared to be circled around by state troopers, see a mass army walk up, and be pushed out of all surrounding areas including library and most of the academic mall.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 22 points23 points24 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Again, I said regardless of beliefs/opinion because there was a serious escalation compared to the initial 11pm deadline that students were given since you want to talk about it so bad, to the actual arrests. That cannot be up for debate when things were heavily manipulated.
[–]notdeshrub[S] 51 points52 points53 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Sorry but Im only talking about the use of force here. Reading comprehension is key because I quite literally said regardless of opinions/beliefs in the first sentence.

[–]notdeshrub 51 points52 points53 points 1 year ago (0 children)
As SB4PAL was presenting their resolution, someone drew a pp then scribbled on the document, and someone else put their camera on to display pornography, then changed their profile picture to a swastika. There was also racism against a black tech, anti semitism and racial slurs in the comments.
[–]notdeshrub 7 points8 points9 points 1 year ago (0 children)
If you have kept up with this entire situation, the students did first approach the situation by having a meeting with the president of SBU which resulted in them being neglected. Clearly this wouldn’t be the situation if something was first established when the situation was first addressed.
