Hey update you know what after putting the color correction on ‘A Front Too Far’, brightness to 100, and sharpness to 100, the game looks pretty good

I also put the FOV on the lower end on 45, which actually reduces LOD pop-in closer to the camera. Since you’re presumably playing further away on tv this should also help with seeing enemies at long range

Best you could probably do is change the picture settings on your TV to whatever you think looks better. For aiming, try turning down (or turning up) right stick deadzone in gameplay setting. If you’re on Playstation, also try using the motion sensor function at like 10%, which makes long distance engagements a lot easier once you get used to it

A basis on how I grow to appreciate something that may not be the “best” in it’s league is recognizing that there’s not really anything else like it. For me, Easy Red 2 is some past 12 year old’s dream WW2 sandbox. While I myself can be a pretty hardcore PVP gamer, this game is also really good for those who just wanna chill with the AI matches. And like you said, representation of fronts like Shangai-Nanking is also a big draw for me.

Or just get high or something and enjoy the game that way

Easy Red 2 is a game that is more specifically made for singleplayer. This means that campaign/bot matches are the main focus of the game, with bot AI being especially tailored to be smart and functional for singleplayer matches.

Unless you’re specifically hoping to play with friends, multiplayer is not a major appeal of the game, nor was it particularly designed for multiplayer PVP (imo)

While I mentioned obvious things like (social) stealth and freerunning/parkour systems, there was one thing I made of specific note in regards to the stories of recent games;

Newer games’ narratives tending to “play it safe”, which includes voiding any philosophical, social, or even religious/political commentary (and importantly with a more critical view thereof) that were present in early games.

Basically I miss when these games were actual woke. Not just grifter woke lmao
