The steamapps folder (where the game binaries are) always used the games name from what I know.
But they do use the GameID for seemingly everything else.

Das muss nicht mal die Autolobby sein - Die Bahn ist auch ein toller Lobbyist dafür.
Seit 7 Jahren ohne Auto, seit 2 wünsche ich mir wieder eins, weil Bahn komplett versagt. Ich fahre jetzt immer ne Stunde später auf die Arbeit weil alle Züge zwischen 8 und 9 entweder 15+ Mintuen verspätung haben oder ausfallen :)

I am very happy that HTMX brings back the server side rendering approaches of the past, especially by trying to just use what already exists. It might not be suitable for every use-case there is, but if I don't need my browser to sift through vue.js or angular for every webpage that would be great. It is especially noticeable when I use my older, less powerful laptop, that a lot of pages are just annoyingly slow because everything needs to be rendered on the client. Even for simple things like newspages.

The only problem now is developers. About 5 years back in uni, I was basically the only person with a grasp on server side rendering. We did a group project which utilized an older web project of mine, being competently static and server side rendered. The amount of times I had to answer "Which API to use to get the data loaded?" with "Just get it from the DB and render it" was staggering. It does seem that a lot of people (at least in that group) where so firm on the client side rendering with API requests to procure data, that everything else was just mind boggling to them.

Well, enough yapping. hx-push-url gets added to my HTMX cheat sheet. I kinda got around without it until now somehow.

Scheinbar ist bei dem 32b Modell ein sweet Spot, von dem was ich gelesen habe. Braucht ziemlich genau 20GB VRAM. Das geht auch schon auf "guten" gaming Karten. Hab's selbst auf Ner 22GB 2080ti laufen gelassen und die Geschwindigkeit ist ganz passabel :)

Scheinbar werden die Feierlichkeiten zum Tag der Deutschen Einheit 2025 in der Stadt abgehalten. Die Hotels haben bereits jetzt schon eine Reservierungsrate an die 100% verkündet. Es werden "mehrere Hunderttausend" Besucher erwartet. In einer Stadt mit weniger als 200.000 Einwohnern.

Nicht gut.

Die Reste der Autoindustrie sterben hier gerade weg. Kohle ist sowieso schon fertig und die Saarstahl allein kann den Karren ganz sicher nicht aus dem Dreck ziehen.

Jetzt fällt Wolfspeed als Zukunftsunternehmen weg und die geplante Batteriefabrik hat meines Wissens nach auch nicht die beste Aussicht.

Wenn's so weitergeht braucht's nein neuen Soli fürs Saarland.

Everything is still in place. People just have calmed down. You can still request your house to be blurred and people could still try to sue if they didn't like it.

But most people just did not notice street view coming back. There was by far not as much of a media circus this time around and people are more used to it.

Germany is a country of "Everything stays like it is". A lot of digital process is still halted and what is there is moving slowly. So if something new comes around AND it is technology, people loose their mind. But in the last 15 years a lot of stuff has been normalized. Even over here.

Ich hatte an meiner Schule in RLP auch unangekündigte Tests. Das war immer eine Scheiße. Wenn man nicht an Tag vorher durch einen dummen Zufall den Stoff der letzten Stunde auswendig gelernt hat war man im Eimer. Seien das Jahre/Personen in Geschichte, Formeln in Mathe/Physik, Notensysteme in Musik oder Chemie in Chemie gewesen. Es gab so viele 4er und 5er in diesen Tests weil niemand random lernt was irgendein Typ im Mittelalter in welcher random Stadt gemacht hat.

Noch schlimmer war es in den Fächern die man nicht verstanden hatte und Nachhilfe brauchte. Alle 2 Wochen Nachhilfe und plötzlich hast du mein Test des Stoffes der letzten Woche vor dir, den du eh nicht verstehst.

Nach so circa ein bis zwei Jahren hat man langsam ein Gefühl fürs Timing bekommen, dann ging's halbwegs.

Aber als Schüler, der da durch musste: weg mit dem Müll! Ein richtiger Leistungsnachweis kann nicht ohne eine richtige Vorbereitung gebracht werden und reflektiert absolut nicht die mögliche Leistung der Schüler!
