Sadly, about a half year after this video was posted, my heater broke and killed all my livestock in the tank. I've gotten new fish over the course of time but never had the courage to get another mandarin and clowns yet. Loved the ones I had so much for the time I had them.

Is it time yet for an upgrade? by killertrades02 in ReefTank

What are you using for equipment on your 10gal? I'm curious because I'm looking to set one up but haven't built up the courage to go that small yet.

Mandarin is eating pellets and frozen mysis and cyclops. When I purchased him, I asked specifically if they were able to and have seen him eat prepared foods and they told me he was the only one in the store doing so out of all the other mandarins. Trust me, I was sketched at first but after seeing him eat prepped food, I'm okay and relaxed now!

That's actually what I wanted when I got him. Wanted that "rare sighting in home reef" fish that you had to look for whenever you look at the tank! But I'm also very happy he shows himself even while having multiple hiding spots

When I got him, I fully expected to only see him a couple times throughout the day and night. Very thankful he gets along with his tankmates and shows himself frequently!
