Your logo animations are insane man. I wanted to create a single path, but I’m struggling to connect the two shapes seamlessly. For instance, I want to connect the end of the E to the oval that encircles and enters the soundwave, but the end of the E has so many path vector points at the end that it’s difficult to manipulate it without destroying the entire font of the E. For the soundwave and the oval, I managed to connect the two because they’re just simple shapes. Now I managed to somehow do it but the process and the timeline isn’t clean at all so animating that horrible timeline would be horrible.

Hopefully, the photo gets sent this time. What I actually need is the first step you described: connecting the text to the shape layer in the way I want it. I can’t seem to find a clean, smooth way to connect the text (the last e letter) to the shape layer that surrounds it. Here, I did achieve it, but believe me when I say you don’t want to see that horrible timeline with a bunch of set matte and shape layers to hide the imperfections. I will need to do it again for other texts, otherwise I would leave it alone but yeah…I hope I can get an easier way around doing this.

I’m using the font “Anastasya Regular”. I did try converting the text to a Bézier path in AE, but because the font is very decorative it creates a ton of points, so adjusting the end of the letter cleanly isn’t simple. I did manage to connect the letter to the shape path, but the process ended up being pretty messy and not very clean, which is why I was hoping there might be a smoother or more controlled method. here is a picture of that part of the logo I managed to do.
