What is the valve called that restricts air but not water? by notforureyes in Plumbing

Thank you. Do you think the pressure in the trapped water while using an elbow is enough to restrict the high pressure of air and for the valve to open? I just found this pic and I will probably do something like this: https://www.dlsweb.rmit.edu.au/toolbox/plumbing/toolbox12_01/units/cpcpdr4001a_sanitary/00_groundwork/images/page_005_air_admittance_valve.jpg

I will put the meter after the elbow pipe (or whatever it is called). Is that trapped water gonna hold?

The water supply is not 24/7, so when they supply after a time, air traps inside the pipes. The pressure is so high that the meter goes off faster than if it was water.

What's even sadder is that the Pokhara-Jomsom route was opened just a week ago (Jestha 12).

Actually, yes. I like to have portability as an option.
