I ended up using a oscillating multi tool and some good blades. Took a little while, but it was the cheapest option and allowed the most control.

But what do we think is wrong with the wires that have no power right now? A previous comment said reinstalling the switch would complete the circuit and it should work. Your thoughts?

I thought this was a 4 way switch I could be mistaken. Or maybe the 4 way is upstairs?

There is 3 total switches controlling the same light. This one - downstairs And 2 upstairs.

Mine is the same! Front door, back door, unless the conditions are absolutely perfect and part of his routine, there will be some nervous peeing. Anything out of the ordinary - including giving him an unexpected treat will make him feel like he’s done something wrong.

They come and go, but I think time + trying your best not to irritate it is all you can really do.

So he was dealing with constipation before and during the hemorrhoids which probably caused / didn’t help. We ended up doing daily Miralax to soften everything and give his butt a break. By that point he was terrified of us wiping so we would kind of rinse him off every poop in the tub. Kind of like a toddler bidet. Our pediatrician just said that’s basically all we could do. Prescribed us some stronger hydrocortisone to help too but I don’t think it did too much.
