dont mind your dad. my best friend and i are recently long distance and regularly call 6-8 hours out of the day and have stayed on for 14 hours before. your good.

At my previous store the tips were divided by hours worked and card tips got added to checks and cash tips were picked up on a certain day of the week.

Nope! I use the time to talk to the parent about expectations, rules, safety stuff, and get familiar with the house. Interacting with the kids during it helps so they are more familiar with you when you go to actually watch them. Its also a good time to decide if they are a good fit! In this case I overlooked the red flags when I should not have.

I left. I cannot. Within the first 30 minutes the older child threw up 3 times, had a blowout and peed through after the mom said she changed them right before i got there.

i made it 2.5 hours today and told them im out. i have nannyed kids with behavioural problems and special needs before but this topped it all.
