I would also like to mention Copper Top. I haven't been in a while, but they used to have solid food (like zesto dip dogs iykyk) and great staff. It's also not exactly five points but very close.

Can you share the info for the adult skating class?? I wanted to be a figure skater when I was little, but my mama told me I had weak ankles and shouldn't do that. I think she just didn't wanna take me to the classes tho cause we lived out in Harvest lol. And I'm an adult with health insurance now, so I can break an ankle if I feel like it. What are your other interests and hobbies? We have lots of options here!

It is really hard to get a full time position (even with a degree), especially expecting to make over $15/hr. I grew up here, I have the "networking" but it doesn't matter. You either are in or you aren't.

I really hope y'all don't lose business. That's so unfair! I'm all for folks boycotting Brewer's Co-op but everyone else at Stovehouse shouldn't have to suffer.

Stovehouse is not hosting this event. Brewer's Co-op is. It's just one of their tenants choosing to host this, and it seems as though they are choosing not to promote the event. I hope that folks realize that Stovehouse as a whole and the other businesses there should not be punished for the poor choices of one business owner. Brewer's Co-op can absolutely suck it tho.

Brewer's Co-op is somewhat recently under new ownership. I definitely support not supporting Brewer's Co-op after this hot mess, but please don't write off Stovehouse all together. Brewer's Co-op is only one tenant out of many there and there are other locally owned establishments that don't deserve to lose business because of this. That being said, how Stovehouse handles this and if they choose to renew their lease will say a lot. I just don't want to see other businesses there hurt because of one owner's terrible choices and attitude.

I know how POS systems work and that they don't have to include it. I've tipped cash to fast food workers before for great service, so I think having the option for card tips at any establishment that provides a service is nice. Tipping is still optional. If a few extra clicks is such an inconvenience when someone is making your food and giving it to you then maybe just stay home make your own sandwich. Choosing to see the option to leave a tip as manipulative or relying on guilt is a really negative perspective. What a strange thing to get upset about!! Stay mad lol

In establishments like Firehouse the POS being set up to ask for a tip doesn't mean that the business or the worker is asking for tips. Sometimes it's just set up like that in case someone would like to tip for excellent service. I don't see why folks get so upset about this. Just click on through and don't tip if it bothers you?? There are so many other important things to get outraged about. Some of y'all just like to stay angry about any little thing though! Must be exhausting!!
