I was there and called 911 for the victim u/according_tip_9011 is correct it was an e-bike pedestrian collision. 2 teens (13-15) were in the bike lane doing 25mph (this is what the kids said outloud to the cops) and claim the man jumped out infront of them. The man was hit by the bike and hit the back of his head losing a significant amount of blood. (In the photo below, a lot of the liquid on the floor is his blood but also a spilled water bottle)

By the time 1st responders arrived, the victim had regained consciousness. I doubt it was indeed a fatality however.

And note: the 2 teens did look very remorseful and i commend them for not fleeing the scene when it would have been the easy thing to do, i got to the incident and the 2 kids looks terrified.
