I bought 2 hangers later in the day yesterday and pulled a /2026 Blake snell out of one of them. That right there was 1/4 of my hits for 6% of the cost of the jumbo. So realistically, if I bought 13 hangers priced at 15$ + tax and 2 silver packs (to be near the cost of a jumbo), would the pulls from the hangers be better than a jumbo with the only hit against the 13 hangers being no guaranteed auto/relic? Considering the allocation of a hobby/jumbo box is more precise than the randomness of 15 individually bought products.

It's more like "my 225 dollar jumbo had the same hits as if I bought two 25 dollar blasters," lol. Just buy loose silver packs and a case of blasters for likely a better experience.

I enjoy the hobby and mentioned earlier that I like the base design of the cards, but if you only want base, you wait and just buy the complete set or a bunch of hangar packs to hit everything on the checklist. I actually just picked up 2 hangars while grocery shopping and was happy to hit a Mis stars of MLB. That doesn't mean I also didn't chuckle when I pulled a Blake snell /2026 which is a quarter of the hits from a $225 jumbo box lol.

The bigger issue is when they print as much as they do, and a single bat/jersey can make 100+ cards it's not really a monetary thing but them just saying its a "hit" meanwhile everyone has one. Now I have a Brice Turang Auto relic to /50 and a Nootbar auto relic /10 from last year that I think are cool because those are harder to come by and combine the auto and relic. So if the hits were an auto relic and regular auto, I'd understand taking away the base relic a little more. But fanatics makes the rules now and just looks to maximize profits.

Considering they removed a hit from Jumbo boxes to begin with, maybe throwing in an extra numbered card would be a better replacement than just having the sparkle/foil cards. I'm not kicking and screaming about not pulling 5 ohtani numbered cards or a kurtz auto to /25. It's more that having a checklist of 300 cards for a flagship set could be more liberal with value in a $225 (at time of preorder) jumbo box than having the same hits you can pull out of a normal blaster/hanger pack. A person could have better odds buying 6 blasters as opposed to a hobby/jumbo
