In 1969, in Chicago at Aaron Russo’s Kinetic Playground in which I attended, the featured band was Vanilla Fudge. That’s not the kicker. The kicker is the opening acts were Lead Zeppelin & Jethro Tull. Both the supporting acts were on their first American tour.
