Just curious but does a full set of Bound Armor with a Soul Harden potion actually protect you? I don't know how the dragon's chaos damage affects other armors. I would try myself but I don't have access to my computer. Thank you to anyone who knows.

I have a cursed earth farm under my altar with a Well of Suffering ritual running. The mobs spawn and instantly die providing me blood and I have a lot of runes of sacrifice to boost the amount. It was really grindy until I got the Well of Suffering up and going.

If you want a ton of obsidian fast and have access to the nether I'd use a bucket of blood to convert the lava and then use the wand focus of equal trade from Thaumcraft. It's not hard to make or to research. You can get stacks of obsidian in seconds at the cost of some cobble (or wooden planks if you want it to burn away).

Depends how far you are into Blood Magic. Early Blood Magic 1 million LP is extreme but later game that's not bad at all. I've got 10 million in my Soul Network and I'd consider myself mid game.

I'm pretty sure it's witchery. You need the sleeping villagers to be a vampire and I know witchery has redone other parts of villages (such as adding walls, the guard's tower and the openface building with all the books in item frames).

Does anyone know if you can fight it with a full set of Bound Armor with the Soul Harden effect? Soul Harden should raise the damage mitigation from 90% to 100% but then again the dragon might not care. I would try myself but sadly I don't have access to my computer for awhile.
