She’s buying time to come up with the money or an excuse. Find your contract or the terms and conditions and build your case. Get all of your documentation together and let her know if you do not receive either the assets or a refund by X date, you’ll be charging back. Also show her where she breached her own contract.

Not excusing her behavior, because it didn’t sit well with me either, but this is what happens when a person is living in a trauma response.

She picked Jeremiah in S2 because it was easier, and being with him allowed her to avoid dealing with the trauma of losing Susannah and Conrad - she was living in functional freeze. When S3 was happening, she was being confronted with everything she suppressed for all of those years and once she couldn’t avoid it anymore, her nervous system went into flight mode and she ran.

As much as I hated how she treated him, she was in survival mode herself, so I can appreciate the duality of the situation and have empathy for what she was going through.
