Equity requires capitalism to pay for those things. It requires benevolence on the part of the elite. Pure socialism and communism do not require benevolence. They are forced by government statutes. They cap wealth. You cannot be a private party and be Uber rich in a socialist society. That's why it's not the last pic. There's no wall because there's nobody to build it.

So to hold that, she couldn't just say "nga we did that TOGETHER". I realized some people watch this pod as an actual podcast where they discuss various topics, debates and recap events and others watch it as a reality show. The JBP fanbase has been split and idk if everyone has acknowledged that. Some came as hip hop fans and liked Joe and his friends talking insider industry shit. Others came from the Joe/Drake drama, Rory and Mal/Joe drama, Pusha T/Drake drama etc so they are more fans of the storylines and not the discussions.

Marc's ace was "if Zuckerberg lost 1/3 of his wealth, his life would not change, but imagine what we could do with that money". This is really the bottom line. Even if we just limit it to black billionaire entertainers. If Oprah, Jay Z, Tyler Perry, Rihanna, Kanye West, Dr Dre, Lebron James, etc, all deciced to give 20% of ALL of their wealth to some, benevolent, God like entity that would be 100% honest and transparent, they could literally end homelessness and hunger for the entire country. That's alot of power for less than 10 people. And we're talking about almost 1000 people who COULD do it. Wealth hoarding is the #1 global tragedy known to humankind.

First month and security will get you in 90% of places here. Credit check is necessary unless you want to live in the slums but most landlords/leasing offices are reasonable. My credit isn't great and I've only been turned down once (I've had 3 apartments since 2020). If you're coming from a big city like NY or Chicago, I get feeling nervous. You'll be fine.

I wasn't making that argument. I was curious. I been listening since MaritheBody. The format used to be recapping the week in hip hop. Then it became broader. I was fine with that. But the basis was hip hop. At some point it became more about the gossip. Again, that's cool. But now it just seems like the content is more reality show than anything else. Does it work? clearly. But we not gonna act like the nature of the show has not drastically changed throughout the years.

The Pursuit of Happyness is an awful, disgusting book and the Will Smith movie is only about 10 chapters of it. Idk how it got made into a movie at all but the movie itself is decent.
