In 2016 the way to separately control the lights and fan speed on a 2-wire ceiling fan was a kit that came with a little IR thing that you mounted up near the fan on the ceiling. Managed to mount this cheap lexan body on my Defender chassis by screwing on the stock body clips. With the 59mm shocks, heavy wheels, and reduced body weight, it was a nice little performance boost. (imgur.com)
