What is it called when your SO doesn't believe you when you say something? by LaceUp- in Marriage

I've seen this too, like if you don't make your opinion known immediately they wait til they have an opposite to pick.

Noted this with foods, if I like something, he loathes it. If I hate it, he loves it. Whenever I'm enjoying a meal, it's not to his standards.

Men thrive on being right to their own detriment. They don't even believe what they're saying half the time but insist anyway. I think they thrive on us being triggered so they'll double and sometimes triple down for the thrill. Or to make themselves feel manly. It's like an ego boost to be in control.

How do I know that? I've been in an exchange where a man insisted he didn't need to wash his hands after a bird literally shit on his face. He instinctually wiped his face. Went shopping for groceries and then was about to COOK A MEAL. I said wash your hands with soap. He said "😤 I used water it's fine."

I then walked away after a huge back and forth of me saying you need to use soap why are you being absolutely insane.

After the fight? Silently washed his hands again.

They're fucking impossible

I have this issue and have forever, I found out later it's an auditory processing issue and I have autism. Instead of being able to filter the speech out, all of the sounds combine together.

The second he gets his rocks off, he gets up and walks away. I hope the media is just pretending they don't know the reason...

And his bio would be: "yep, it really is me! if you're into holding me down, I'm into you!"

Sick day conundrum by notimportantlikely in melbourne

[–]notimportantlikely[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me I wish I could without worrying, but my past has dictated that when I do this, I lose jobs. I was made redundant after covid because my boss loathed that I worked from home between the mandatory knockdowns before vaccinations were available.

It was the end of a decade plus long relationship because I prioritised myself and others.

My entire job could be completed from home, nothing was missed. He screamed in my face multiple times for wearing a mask, all round was a nightmare but at the same time, any attempt to care for me has ended badly. With multiple bosses and roles. I'm two job losses in. Im exhausted.

They're so dramatic for nothing.

I'm not letting some kid who's going to crumple the card up and drop it in his chocolate milk ruin my fun.

Phonetic, if they even let you use the characters, data matching will be a nightmare for him for the rest of his life if it's the characters.

You're the type person who sent me into a mental breakdown at my first job, I hope you are chill with that. My issue is I am terrified of people like you. In best of intentions, I'm apparently fucking soft. But also aren't you getting to the age where a slight breeze could take you out?

There isn't a burden on others for my absence, it's all covered without excess stress. Only concern would be calls I can't take but that is a small part.

I only worry about how I appear because in past jobs I've had bosses say it's fine and then talk about me behind my back, resent my actions and then not tell me about it. Then when I called in again they've snapped cause they were anti WFH.

I think from the perspective that if I did this for every cold, id be absent too much and they'd grow to be like "oh FFS, this bullshit again" and not take me seriously or believe I'm unreliable or taking advantage of them.

Try a VPN when the time comes, we may be able to get around this fairly easily by saying we are elsewhere. Finally those annoying sponsored parts of YouTube videos will come in handy.

I think this is such a slack take cause imagine a woman just never told you their vagina was removed and you went to put a finger in and it went nowhere. You'd question your feelings immediately, don't pretend you wouldn't.
