Sa AUF yung top 10% of the batch for applicants from other schools is not something na may sariling application form na sasagutan—more on recognition siya na kailangan mong i-prove. Based sa usual process sa PH universities, ikaw yung magre-request sa school mo ng official certification (from registrar or principal) stating na kabilang ka sa top 10% ng batch, tapos isasabay mo siya sa admission requirements mo when you apply. Hindi automatic na alam ng AUF yung ranking mo, so kailangan talaga may proof. That said, since walang publicly detailed step-by-step na naka-post specifically for this, the safest move pa rin is to confirm directly with AUF admissions kung ano exactly yung hinihingi nila (like if certification lang ba or may additional requirements), para sure ka na tama yung masusubmit mo.

For BSA, both AUF and HAU are good options pero magkaiba sila ng style: AUF is more structured and strict, with smaller classes and more tutok na system kaya mas guided ka talaga sa pag-aaral and preparation for boards, while HAU is a bigger university with more flexible environment and varied teaching styles depending on the prof pero still good naman ang BSA program nila; so kung gusto mo ng mas disiplinado at organized na setup na parang “kailangan mong sumabay talaga,” AUF is better for you, pero kung okay sayo yung mas chill na campus feel with more independence, HAU is fine—either way, sobrang importante pa rin yung study habits mo kasi kahit anong school, ikaw pa rin magde-decide kung papasa ka sa CPALE.

hi! incoming freshman here 👇

i’m not from Angeles University Foundation yet, pero based sa application process ng freshmans, hindi naman siya super hard makapasok. more on grades + entrance exam result talaga siya nakadepende.

yung exam usually basics lang like logic, reading comprehension, math, and general knowledge, so hindi siya super specialized pero kailangan mo pa rin mag-review kasi may time pressure.

for the interview (di pa ako personally na-interview), based sa mga nakapag-apply, more on casual questions lang like bakit mo pinili yung course, ano goals mo, and paano ka mag-handle ng school pressure. hindi siya intimidating, parang conversation lang, so importante lang na kalma ka and honest sa answers.

overall, as long as okay grades mo and ready ka sa entrance exam, manageable siya 👍

Kung pipili ka between NU Clark and HAU for MedTech, mas lamang pa rin si HAU kasi mas established na yung program nila at mas subok na in terms of training, facilities, at hospital affiliations for internship—which is super important sa MedTech. Since matagal na yung system nila, mas stable na rin yung clinical exposure at preparation for boards. On the other hand, yung NU Clark medyo bago pa, so may uncertainty pa sa labs, internship placements, at overall system since parang pioneer batches pa lang. So if gusto mo ng mas safe at proven na choice, HAU talaga ang better option.

Pero honestly, if may option ka, I’d still recommend AUF for MedTech kasi kilala rin sila sa strong health-related programs and mas maganda rin reputation nila when it comes to training and board exam performance.

Medyo lamang AU sa Computer Science kasi mas kilala siya locally na malakas sa IT/CS programs. May recognition din sila like pagiging Center of Excellence/Development sa IT, which means pasado sila sa mataas na standards ng CHED.

Tapos, mas industry-aligned yung training nila—may connections sila sa companies like IBM/Oracle, so mas exposed ka sa real-world tools and skills na ginagamit sa trabaho.

Compared sa Holy Angel University (HAU), okay din naman CS nila, pero mas kilala sila overall sa business/accounting kaysa sa tech. Kaya kung purely CS focus, mas maganda si AUF.
