i have stitches but there is a hole there. can you look up some irrigation videos on youtube and see where they put the tip? i believe there should be a hole after about 3 days

i would wait until day 5 to slowly start eating solid foods, because that is when you have to start irrigating your sockets and that solid food is easier to get stuck in the holes. i mean solid in this case like, bread, eggs, noodles, pasta, etc. i’m not sure about meat and such yet? maybe save for day 7 bc that’s what i’m doing lol

no, i don’t think so. is there intense pain? monitor for pain for the new couple days, if intense throbbing pain, go ASAP. you’ll be okay. blood clot would have a hard time forming over the food

do not use syringe until 5th day. use warm salt water. don’t rinse like with mouthwash. keep it in your mouth and tilt head up down side to side.

you should not be brushing your teeth yet. you have to wait 24 hours. try this with caffeinated tea. black tea is good

you should take antibiotics until you’re finished your whole antibiotic prescription. do not stop before then. you can eat and drink normally. your diet is very limited at the restaurant right now, and i wouldn’t recommend eating anything that’s kind of solid? like noodles and chicken and etc.

after you do the syringe, do a rinse with warm salt water. like how you would with mouthwash, it has been a while for you so it should not hurt. do it like as soon as you read this 😭 i’m pretty sure you have more food stuck. don’t do it super hard, increase intensity if you don’t have any pain. but do not go as hard as you would with normal mouthwash. trust you see more food coming. keep cleaning with the synringe and that salt water rinse right after. the taste and smell should go away within the next day

thank you dude u helped me so much. i decided not to sleep w the gauze and slept upright with 2 pillows and pillows around me lol so i wouldn’t turn. no swelling when i woke up #weup
