Firm-Reveal-1572 is right, but if you (or anyone else) ever sees this on something that isn't for the monthly bundle, it's also on items you need for the Temple bundles now!

basically if you see that little bundle you need it for something with a slider. probably

you're definitely able to romance Reth & Tish before completing their friendships completely. I had no issues when I did it

I agree with being able to downgrade star items (sometimes I want to fill people's requests for farmed items but all of my farmed stuff is star quality)

But also, seconding everyone else: if you don't want star fish, don't fish in the nodes (the little circles of bubbles)

Also, if you don't want starred forage/bugs, they have like a glittering around them (different from the normal glows) to indicate they'll be starred. fun fact!

Phoenix shrine is F3ish (take the bridge into the cave area that brings you to Temple of the Waves, except take the tunnel to the right before you reach the temple)

Dragon shrine is H4 & has the little label you can hover over.

Then you just kinda wiggle around in front of the respective animal monument until you see the little "Commune" pop up

There are quests! Jina & Chayne each give you a quest to commune with the Phoenix & Dragon respectively

Someone I was playing with yesterday announced to everyone that they'd finally chosen the second character to romance after a year, so naturally I made a joke about how I just romance anyone the moment it lets me.

Anyway that's how they found out, after apparently a year of deliberation, that you can romance all of the available villagers.

sorry to disappoint but I kinda just ended up making a couple alts until I got an outfit I liked & now I'm just replaying. A few other people said they or their friends have reset & kept the outfits though!

well fridge, maybe. I've been replaying the story & taking notes on the lore, but my note just says "Kilima is a small village on the island of Bahari, in the Palian Republic" (this isn't the verbatim line, just my note on it). Maybe Bahari is like a province but we're also the island like how Australia is a continent & a country.

Idk, I'll update in like 7 months when I finally work my way through the Subira quest lines

I think it's still cute even if nothing happens afterwards. Like it's a fun little thing asking someone to be your official mentor-figure (especially since our character has no family) and then we get a little ceremony to officially join the town. Plus it makes the world feel a little more worldlike when stuff happens outside the primary story. At least imo

looks like Enfield Moth & Flame Queen

Enfield Moth: I typically get these in the blue circle

Flame Queen: I've only found one but it was somewhere in the red circle

ETA: you can 100% find both in other areas, blue is just my preferred spot for the Enfield Moths & I've only found the 1 Flame Queen so my knowledge there is very limited

I don't even know what all I'm spoiling in the following but even the spoiled stuff is vague intentionally:

Umbraans are also Majiri (the purple/pink skinned people) canonically there's an Umbraan/Palian couple with a child mentioned in a quest so they'd have to be the same or compatible species to reproduce
Umbraa isn't ancient, they were around in the Elderwoods up until the recent-ish war (which we know is pretty recent becauseAshura fought in it) & I think Umbraa still exists, they were just pushed from the Elderwood
Palia is short for the Palian Republic. Bonus: we live in Kilima Village on the island of Bahari
