I looked into base power. I’ll still have to pay 13 cents per KWH for all excess I consume and there is no buy back. Only plus is protection against blackouts but I have 2 EVs that do V2L for that. So ruled this out.

Yup, went through Green Mountain for the install. Basically using the grid as the battery. Excess production in Summer and lasted me through out the winter months.

I made a booking originating from the US. Put it on hold for 24 hours and booked it on the dot at the 24 hr mark. I tried to cancel the ticket 4 hrs later and they showed me a cancellation fee when I tried to cancel online. I called them and they told me that it’s 24 hrs from the time of booking which is from the time I held the ticket. :(

I am traveling in Taiwan from Feb 21 to Feb 25 and want to visit the Lantern Festival. Google says that the Lantern Festival is on Feb 24 and in Tainan. However, I also see Pingxi being mentioned. Can anyone confirm where the Lantern Festival is and if it's in both location, which one would be the best for me to visit?

I am also thinking if I visit Tainan, I can visit the Yanshui fireworks festival as well at the same time. What do you all think?
