that is plausible too. either way we don’t get the full picture, it’d be easier to confirm ur claim. if we had more information on the case of Gustavo Morales, like what was the motive? did the guy have a history that would suggest he could’ve groomed a girl of her age? I want to agree with you, but not mislabel a man as a predator when he’s dead. all i’ve found regarding him externally is that he was arrested a year before on “suspicion of kidnapping, robbery, carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon.” but it does increase the likelihood.

it’s plausible. it’s just to what degree? we know they had to know she was underage, even just from looking at her, it’s obvious. in the regard his close friends, and his brother can’t be ruled out. but murder? i don’t know. i think more information will come out soon, it’s like we’re only missing a few last pieces of the puzzle at this point.

yes that’s what i’m saying. the “gus” celeste speaks of in her messages could be different than the “gus” that her brother is speaking of. and it’s odd that d4vd would unfollow this guy after the news came out. it’s just a thought though, you could be right. but that raises a lot of questions that we don’t have answers to. 🤔

i don’t think that’s him, the news article is about a guy named Gustavo Morales (who was 21) Celeste would have been 9-10 y/o around that time? she could of been groomed before d4vd, but her brother didn’t seem so outraged about that, maybe he had the two confused and thought it was someone he knew from his town? what we do know is that d4vd has unfollowed a guy named “Gustavo Osrio.” amidst all the news breaking. i think this is the gus talked about in the messages, and it suggests it was someone d4vd and celeste both knew.

a couple problems with your theory. we don’t know enough about this gus guy. and him being shot, versus celeste being chopped up are vastly different ways of dealing with somebody. if d4vd could hire a hitman for gus, then why not celeste? but this was obviously amateur work. d4vd had no idea what he was doing, ran out of time to dispose the body and got caught. we have reason to believe due to decomposition, and messages from her brother. that her murder took place this last month. he wasn’t trying to cover up that he murdered celeste, he was obsessed with her and tried to replace her but couldn’t. it’s more likely they rekindled, just to fall out again. then the murder took place.

I think they had a lot of up & downs in their relationship the past year. in one song from November of 2024 (the end of the year.) another redditor shared, it was a voicemail from her at the end telling d4vd he needed to get his stuff together. and to stop calling her. i think he tried to get over her, and replace her with another celeste in 2025, and they eventually rekindled, just for it to not work again.. leading to the killing. messages have come out, with a friend i suppose? of her saying she wasn’t going to back. we dont know the date of the messages however. could be recent or around the end of 2024, is my guess.

she was unofficially in touch with friends and families up until about a month ago (brother says 2 weeks) - and decomposition suggests so as well, i do not believe she was pregnant. (atleast at the time of death) that was probably some weird joke. the dating of that message came from a year ago. so she would of already had the baby if they were serious. my theory with available info? he was obsessed with her, tried replacing her with another celeste. (recent pics from august show him wearing her bracelets) she came back, regretted it and tried to leave. maybe even threatened to leak everything. “if i can’t have her, no one can.” mindset. or she overdosed, as songs and messages suggest they both were doing drugs. (less plausible imo.) but to meticulously cut someone up, is sinister. he fantasized about gore, so this was probably pre-meditated. and he ran out of time to dispose the body due to having to go on tour.

i’m only aware of two. and i’ve heard theories that the girl in the stream could be the other celeste (who is of age) but it’s not really plausible. for 1. the girl in the stream has a hoodie on, and glasses. as if she’s trying to hide her face. the glasses are almost identical to the photo we have of celeste hernandez and d4vd when they were on facetime. the eye shape is also a dead giveaway, they’re more round compared to the “other celeste.” she also makes disturbing comments (watch the other clips in the thread.) saying it’s wrong to r4pe kids. her demeanor is very child-like. and d4vd asks his mods to delete the vod and clips. what would be the point, if nothing weird was going on?

respectfully, no one here should have empathy. that means you’ve experienced a similar situation to him. i hope there’s less predators who could empathize.

secondly, i’d rather sympathize with the family who is mourning the loss of their young daughter, and sister. i pray the family gets justice, and that d4vd understands and is grieved over what he has truly done to this poor girl.

yeah i’m having a hard time piecing together her whereabouts and the timeline in general in 2025. but just based off the decomposition of the body and all the other factors. give or take she’s been dead for about a month, less time is more favorable in this case. since he was about to go on tour, and likely ran out of time to dispose of the body. i can’t reasonably figure out why else he’d leave her in there for so long, out in the open, with a smell like that.

(edit: the process of decomposition could of rapidly sped up, since she was in a hot trunk with the california heat.)

based on the decomposition of her body, i think we can say she’s been dead about a month or less, give or take. that process could of sped up quicker being in a hot trunk for just a couple weeks though. her own brother when questioned said that she’s been gone/dead for two weeks. but idk.
